How to join

You are very welcome to attend one of our Monday evening rehearsals at Stanningley Fire Station starting at 7.30pm. It's a great chance to meet everyone and see what it's all about.

Please email our Band Manager George, george@thefireband.com, for more details about how to find the band room.

There's then a straight forward induction process for new members alongside an opportunity to chat with us about any questions you may have. If you're returning to playing after a break then that's fine; you're always welcome at our rehearsals until you're feeling ready to join. Musically we look for grade 6 standard or equivalent before joining us on engagements.

All uniform is provided along with marching tuition - prior marching experience is not required and you won't be dropped in at the deep end! Our marching practices take place on Monday evenings (weather permitting) as part of the regular rehearsals.
