'Three Niners' Massed band concert

The joint bands of West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service and the Humberside Police band are together to hold a concert in the Hull Guildhall.

It's the first time that the bands will have worked together and the concert - dubbed the "three niners" following from the phone number used to dial the emergency services - promises to be a real success.

Humberside Police Band can trace it's roots right back to 1861, making it the oldest Police Band in the country. Much like the WYFRS band, the band has played a number of international visits and has also played for Her Majesty the Queen.

The band will appear under the derection of Musical Director Brent Read and Danny Fleming their Drum Major.

Tickets for the concert are just £5.00 and are available from the Tickets page of the WYFRS band website and there will be an interval where drinks will be available from the bar.
